While Kanye finds comfort working alongside Adidas, his right-hand man, Don C, continues his collaborative streak with Jordan Brand.
For his latest effort with the company founded by Jordan, rather than use an already established model, the streetwear designer took to the drawing board to create an entirely new sneaker, calling it the Jordan Legacy 312; the number 321 serving as a reference to the area code of his Chicago roots. While new in its entirety, the sneaker is actually a hybrid, fusing together several elements from signature Jordan models of years past, such as the Jordan 1 and Jordan 3, with design features from the Nike Air Revolution.
Several colorways of the Legacy 312 are rumored to make their way to retail shelves at some point or another. There will for sure be a Black/White pair and a White/Yellow-Purple pair, the second of which is an obvious nod to the Los Angeles Lakers. Those two colorways are seen below in there actual structural form. Word has it that there will also be a Blue/Red colorway inspired by the Detroit Pistons, a Red/Black colorway inspired by the Chicago Bulls, and a Black/Blue-Orange model inspired by the New York Knicks. The three of those colorways are shown in Photoshop renditions imaged by graphic firm ConceptLab.
No release date as of yet for the Legacy 312, but we’ll be sure you update you with such when it becomes available.
