ASICS GEL-Kayano 14 Gets an Exclusive Sneaker Politics Makeover

Sneaker Politics is back with another exclusive collaboration, this time putting its own spin on the ASICS GEL-Kayano 14. Drawing inspiration from the famous “Just Say No” anti-drug campaign, this special edition sneaker reminds consumers that “they are in control of their own sneaker collection and can refuse hype driven releases” by saying no to peer pressure.

The shoe features a mix of metallic gold and silver overlays, creating a bold yet balanced look. Vibrant red accents on the heel provide a striking contrast, while the midsole, with its pre-aged cream yellow finish, adds a vintage touch. ASICS’ signature GEL cushioning remains intact, ensuring the same comfort and performance that has made the GEL-Kayano 14 a fan favorite. Inside, the insoles feature a red hemp pattern, reinforcing the theme and adding an extra layer of detail to the design.

This limited-edition sneaker will first drop in-store on March 8, 2025, at 11 AM CT, exclusively at Sneaker Politics’ Austin location during SXSW. For those unable to attend in person, an online raffle will be open from March 5th to 8th, giving sneakerheads another chance to secure a pair. If any pairs remain after the initial release, they will be available online starting March 10 at 9 AM CT. Retailing at $150, this exclusive collab is sure to be a hot commodity.
