When it comes to Saucony collaborations, few names come to mind as quickly as Jae Tips. The Bronx-bred creative has been the mastermind behind some of the brand’s most sought-after releases, solidifying his status as a key figure in sneaker culture.
His latest venture with Saucony, dubbed “I Love You, But I’m Busy”, is sure to turn heads like his previous sold out collaborations. Making use of the Grid Jazz 9, Jae Tips outfitted the runner in a mod podge of colors, making use of suede, leather and mesh materials, creating a bold, eye-catching aesthetic that perfectly reflects his signature design language. Key details include “Savior Sport” embroidered on the tongue, custom designed insoles featuring Jae’s flower graphics and the phrase “Coming Soon”, and the most obvious of them all, the words “I Love You, But I’m Busy” stitched across the back of the left and right shoe.
An official drop date has yet to be confirmed, but the flurry of pairs that been popping up in peoples hands lately tells us that a release date can’t be far off.
