Following the release of a low-key White/Navy colorway late last year, Lil Yachty and Nike bring a colorful twist to the Air Force 1 “Concrete Boys”.
Taking us straight back to the bold and vibrant color schemes of years past, this second edition of the “Concrete Boys” Air Force 1 is impossible to miss in a striking green, yellow and red patent leather makeup. The color scheme and material choice is very reminiscent of the Bathing Ape BAPESTA sneakers that were widely popular during the early 2000’s. While a complete 180 from the first release, the sneakers do sport some similarities, such as the Concrete Boys’ signature hammer swinging character embroidered on the lateral heel, the groups wordmark showcased on the heel tab, and Lil Yachty “It’s Us” adlib printed on the tongue tag and insoles.
A specific release date has yet to be revealed for the colorful patent leather iteration of the Air Force 1 “Concrete Boys”, but we’ll be sure to keep you in the loop as more details emerge between now and then.
