The Nike Air Foamposite One has remained a staple since its original release in 1997, thanks to the brand’s consistent rollout of both new and classic colorways over the years. 2025 is slated to see the release of several color options of the Foamposite One, including this “Psychic Blue” number.
Rumors of a ‘Psychic Blue’ Foamposite surfaced online months ago, but at the time, all we had were speculative mockups based on educated guesses. Now, thanks to IG user @iamdavidnyc, we finally have our first in-hand look at the actual sneaker. While the photo isn’t the clearest, it reveals an upper that closely resembles the color of the University Blue Foamposite—though this version appears to have a matte finish instead of the traditional glossy look. We can also see that there’s a blue-tinted translucent outsole, which is becoming more common on the sneaker as Nike looks for ways to slow down the yellowing process of clear soles.
While an official release date is unconfirmed, the Nike Air Foamposite One “Psychic Blue” is expected to drop sometime in June.
