Get ready, Kobe fans. A new colorway of the Nike Kobe 5 Protro is headed to retailers very soon.
The Nike Kobe 5 Protro “X-Ray”, which was originally unveiled by Kobe’s wife, Vanessa Bryant, several months ago and believed to be a PE the public would never get their hands on, is in fact being released, and the release date is only a short ways away. The sneakers feature an x-ray graphic of a hand across a dark blue upper, which Kobe fanatics will come to recognize as being similar to a graphic tee Nike released long ago that had an x-ray image of Kobe’s hand injuries with one of his 5 championship rings on each finger. Word has it that the shirts are expected to re-release alongside the sneakers.
These will undoubtably be hard to get your hand on, as anything Kobe related has been since his unfortunate passing. You’ll be able to try your luck though on November 17th when the Nike Kobe 5 Protro X-Ray drops on Nike dot com and select Nike Basketball distributors.
