With the tip-off of March Madness creeping closer, we’re beginning to see more Nike-sponsored universities outfitted with new PEs for the tournament stage, and the Oregon Ducks just received a banger of a collection. As one of Nike’s most closely tied programs, Oregon’s men’s basketball team has been gifted three special pairs of the Nike Kobe 9 Low EM, each tailored in unmistakable Ducks flair.
The Kobe 9 Low EM — a performance favorite with deep ties to Kobe Bryant’s post-Achilles comeback — is already a standout silhouette, but these Oregon PEs take it to another level. All three pairs feature a bold blend of green and yellow woven throughout the Engineered Mesh upper, delivering a striking interpretation of the school’s well recognized color palette. The vibrant hues extend to the rubber outsole, ensuring these PEs are just as loud underfoot as they are up top.
Unfortunately, it’s highly unlikely that any of these pairs will see a public release. Instead, they’ll join the long list of coveted Oregon Ducks PEs that collectors dream about but rarely get the chance to own.
