Before obtaining a scholarship to Georgetown and going on to become an NBA legend, a young Allen Iverson had dreams of growing up to play quarterback for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. A multisport athlete, Iverson played both football and basketball throughout his school years. Ultimately, basketball ended up being the sport he excelled at and the one that defined his legacy.
In memory of those childhood dreams, Reebok put together a Notre Dame inspired colorway of AI’s signature Answer III model. Simple enough, the sneaker features a navy blue upper constructed of suede and leather materials planted on a white sole unit, adding a clean and balanced look, with gold accenting the piping and branding. A smidge of green can be spotted on the lace lace dubrae and the DMX lettering to complete the team-inspired colorway.
Retailing for $140 in size 3.5-13, the Reebok Answer III “Notre Dame” is available now through select Reebok distributors and Reebok’s own webstore.
